Job Recovery!
You can now recover your cancelled jobs from the exact point of interruption, and continue your job as if nothing happened.
There’s no need to run back over the completed parts or adjust the GCode, so you can minimise downtime.
If a cutter breaks, and SmartBench continues the job without cutting, you can run it back to the last place it cut and continue the job from there.
Job recovery will work even if SmartBench has lost its position - users will be able to re-home SmartBench before using the dedicated nudge screen to adjust the position of the tool to make the recovery as seamless as possible.
This new feature is available to all users, so everyone can save even more time with SmartBench!

New YetiPilot profiles
Oak has been added to the list of YetiPilot materials, with a range of cutters to choose from.
Get SC2 Spindle motor data
SC2 Spindle motor users can now access the “Get data” button in the Maintenance app Spindle motor settings tab.
This will show all of the information that the SC2 Spindle motor stores about itself, including:

Serial number

Production year
-
Production week
-
Firmware version
-
Total run time over Spindle motor’s lifetime

Brush run time since brush use was last reset

Mains frequency in Hz
UI Improvements

Changing the Wi-Fi network no longer requires a reboot.

The list of network names in the Wi-Fi app has been filtered and tidied up for readability.

The spindle motor settings tab in the Maintenance app has been reworked to make it more intuitive and user friendly.

A warning message about how long an update may take has been added to the update process (so the user can cancel if they don’t have the time).

Removed a superfluous GRBL soft reset from the job start process, and added in a “resume” when needed after the spindle motor health check.

If checkout and pull of a development branch fails, the user will now see an error message.
