This release just has some patches for bugs that a few users have been experiencing. |
Lag patch
Some users were experiencing lag on their Consoles after the updating to v1.8.0.
This was caused by changes to the way that the Console checked its internet connection. If the Console was connected to a slower or more unstable connection, its background check would take longer, and briefly lock up the user interface.
This has now been patched.
Update app

Error messages that came up on a version refresh could cause the Console to crash; these have been patched and work normally again.

These are the more technical changes that we have put into this release. While they are important for improving SmartBench, there’s definitely some programming jargon in this section! |

Disabled the refresh version button during a refresh, to prevent multiple calls of the same refresh function.

The update app could previously be set up in the screen manager more than once - this has now been patched.
