BigFoot Beta Z-Head Preparation 1.1 / 1.2a

Important notes:

Remove the Z-Head from Smartbench before this installation and preparation

The bigfoot beta installation will remove the dust shoe light function

Ensure you have enough safe space to work on your Z-Head before beginning. Place your Z-Head on the side as below:

Tools required:

3mm driver

4mm driver

Step 1: Remove the extraction elbow

With a 3mm driver remove 2 bolts holding on the extraction elbow and the o-ring

Step 2a: Lift up the two spindle windows

Step 2b: Unscrew the 4x bolts holding on the dust shoe

Move the existing dust shoe cable to above the bottom Z-Head plate. Use the included Zip Tie if required to secure it in place.
